Tips to Raising Your Vibrational Energy

What does it mean to raise your energetic vibration? Everyone and everything in the universe is made of  energy and when you are having a bad day or feeling under the weather, it means that your energetic vibration is rather low. By raising your vibration, you can not only bring up your mood, but you also invite positive energy and events into your life that will allow you to be the best version of yourself that you can be.

Here are some tips to help raise your vibration so you can feel and be the best you can be!

Eat fruit: We've all heard the old saying "An apple a day keeps the doctor away", well I'd like to change that to "An apple a day gives me the energy to play". Different fruits and vegetables are scientifically proven to give you an energy boost, but they are also very beneficial for raising your energetic frequency. By nibbling on an apple or some tart raspberries, you can begin shifting your energy for its highest purpose.

 

High-vibrational crystals and tektites: By carrying, wearing, or meditating with high-vibrational crystals and tektites, these stones can help raise your energetic frequency. Some high-vibrational crystals are Apophyllite, Auralite-23, Garden Quartz, Phenacite, Rutilated Quartz, Scolecite, and Super-Seven. Meteriorites and Tektites can also work well, some of those including Campo del Cielo Meteorite, Libyan Desert Glass, and Moldavite. Connect with your ancestors, guides, or angels: It is my opinion that everyone has guides that work with them in moving towards their highest self. Take a shower or salt bath:  Water is a very cleansing element, so when your energy is feeling bogged down, take a shower or bath to wash it away. Salt baths are also great at cleansing energy since it utilizes the purification properties of salt which can help heighten your energetic frequency.

Dance: Seriously, one of the best ways to raise your vibration is to dance like nobody is watching! Movement is a great way to bring in positive energy, and dancing to your favorite song or band can help ignite you even more. It doesn't matter if you're good at it nor do you need a club setting to enjoy this activity. Just put on some good music and get moving!

Breathwork: There are several different types of breathwork, but this is one of the best ways to release stress and anxiety while inviting relaxation and empowerment into your body. The simplest breathwork is to inhale for four seconds, hold it for four seconds, and then release it for four seconds and repeat the cycle. Kundalini yoga: Kundalini yoga mixes repetitive movements, chants, and breathwork to help unlock your kundalini energy that is located at the base of your spine. This energy is said to help spiritual awareness and helping you move above and beyond the ego. It can help balance, align, and awaken the chakra system so that you can gain your highest potential.

Meditate: Meditation in any form is very beneficial in raising your energetic vibration since it can help clear your mind, stress, and anxieties that may be holding you back. In meditation, breathwork and mantras are often used to help focus on releasing your thoughts and bringing in positive, high, vibrational energy.

Mantras, chants, and/or mala beads. As mentioned above, mantras and chants are often used in meditation and different yoga practices to help raise your vibrations. Mantras vary depending on your intentions and goals, however even the simple mantra of "I am enough" can be empowering during your meditation. Mala beads are also tools used to help focus meditation. They are strands of 108 beads that you utilize as you say your mantra over and over again, pulling the beads through your fingers towards you as you finish the mantra. Listen to music: Music you love can be so soothing for the soul. Listening to good music or music that makes you happy is another great way to raise your vibrations. Sing along if you want! I will admit, I am not the best singer, but I never let that stop me from belting out to a good song on the radio or playing my favorite nostalgia tracks. There is no such thing as bad singing if it makes you happy when doing it.

Drumming/make your own music: Drumming is a great way to raise your vibration and release some negative tension in your life, however I wouldn't limit the healing capabilities to just drums. Any instrument can help raise your energy and bring some peace to your mind. 

Gratitude: Sometimes it is hard to recognize things you are grateful for or the positive things in your life. One suggestion I have is make a gratitude list. Daily, write down five things you are grateful for. They can be small things like a warm cup of tea or the cool breeze that relieves a hot summer day. If you are able to write five items for one week, then in the next week try to make it six. This focuses you to turn your energy to the positive things in your life and move it away from the negativity that might be holding you back.

Prayers and Affirmations:
These are great tools for raising your vibration. When first getting started, positive affirmations can feel forced like you are just telling yourself you are okay, but it doesn't feel that way. However, it is proven that this practice can draw in the intention of whatever affirmation you are utilizing. Whether it is something simple or something more intent-oriented, affirmations can easily raise your energy to its highest vibrations.

 

Nature/greenery/grounding:
Going out into nature is probably one of the easiest ways to cleanse and raise your energy. This could be in any form for you whether it is a walk in the woods or on the beach, working in the garden, or even just laying on a nice green lawn. The point is to get out in nature and reconnect to the earth around you. This practice helps release negative energy and grounds you which then allows you to raise your energy and bring in positive vibrations that will help you in whatever your goals are.

Watch animal videos or funny videos (or funny animal videos because they are so cute!)

Have you ever seen a cute animal video that had you cooing or a funny one that had you giggling like crazy? Those videos are some of the best for raising your energy. It may sound very simple, but it really is. Laughing and smiling at a cute animal video or a funny video can increase the serotonin in your body which alleviates stress and lifts your mood. Getting rid of any negative emotions allows you to raise your frequency easier. 

And if you are one of the lucky pet owners in the world, go ahead and play with your animal! Whether that is throwing a ball for your dog or teasing your cat with a little toy, go on and do it! If you don't have the energy to do that right away, then just cuddle up with them. Their unconditional love and affection will easily raise your vibrations once again.

Create art: I'm not very good at art, I will admit. I can't paint, draw, or make clay figures like some of my artistic friends, however just because I'm not good at it doesn't mean I won't do it. The quality of the work doesn't matter. What matters is how you feel while creating the project. Art in any form is something that can easily raise your vibrations and might even allow for some meditative breakthroughs.

Self-inquiry/ awareness:
Understanding your emotions can really benefit you on your journey to increasing your energetic vibrations. Even if we want to, we can't ignore the negative thoughts and emotions we have, which is why it is good to be self-aware. Why do you feel the way you do? Where did these thoughts come from? Is there a person or situation that correlates to these feelings? One version of self-inquiry and awareness is through shadow work, though simple journaling and meditation can also bring in the self-awareness and understanding that you need for your higher energy.

Smile and laugh:
Have you heard the phrase, "laughter is the best medicine"? That is honestly true when it comes to raising your vibration which is why most of these tips involve doing things that you love and hopefully make you smile and laugh. If you have friends that you love getting together and laughing with, then do! Let yourself goof around and play; give your inner child something to be happy over, and in turn you will raise your own energy to the highest vibrations.
