Law of Attraction - How to get started

What Is the Law of Attraction? How Can You Get Started with Bringing Positive Changes In Your Life?

Our minds play a bigger role in our realities than many of us realize. With the “Law of Attraction”, like attracts like. This includes thoughts, emotions, events, ideas, people, and circumstances. When focused upon properly, the energy connected with thought manifests into physical form.

NOTHING HOLDS US BACK MORE THAN OURSELVES

If you are unhappy with your current circumstances in life, the changes must begin within. Don’t make the mistake that so many people make of letting your circumstances affect the way you feel. The truth is that your current circumstances are primarily a result of your past thoughts and emotions.

DON’T BLAME YOURSELF

This doesn’t mean that you should feel guilty or blame yourself in any way. The very first step simply this: acceptance. So your thoughts and emotions affect your physical reality, and like attracts like. The low vibrations associated with negative feelings lead to an unwanted reality. The very next step is to start working on your way of thinking. Let go of negative feelings and frustrations and try to focus on good, positive thoughts. Raise those vibes.

OVERCOME THE BLOCKS

Of course, changing your thought pattern probably isn’t going to be an easy process – especially if it’s deep-rooted.

The Law of Attraction isn’t exactly a genie in a bottle that will instantly grant you wishes; it may take some time for you to habitually replace the negative mental muscle with a positive mental muscle.

To kick those subconscious blocks out of the way, you have to first CONSCIOUSLY force yourself to start thinking more positively and to turn positive thinking into a habit.

USE THE LAW OF ATTRACTION

Here are a few tips to help you get started:

  • Pay attention to what you focus on. No matter how difficult daily life may seem, there are always going to be at least a few good things to be thankful for. The idea is to be more thankful for those few good things and less upset about the not-so-good things. As mentioned above, you might have to start off by FORCING yourself to do this – but it can be done.

  • Create a “gratitude diary”. One way to force yourself to start thinking more positively is to make a list of at least 5 good things you are grateful for and happy about. Start off with 5 things a day, work your way up to 10, and so on. Even the simplest of things, like “the beautiful view from my window” or “being able to sit down and write” are worth being thankful for.

  • When it’s possible to do so, avoid things that make you feel negative thoughts and emotions. If you don’t like what you hear on the news, turn off the news. Instead, turn your attention to things that you enjoy and make you smile.

  • Do (healthy) things that make your body feel good and as a result, your mind will start to feel better. Take a warm bubble bath. Dance and sing along to music that makes you happy. Laugh more. Nothing helps raise positive vibes more than genuine laughter!

By focusing more on things your body and mind enjoy, you will ultimately be able to attract better things into your life and reality. Try to keep the Law of Attraction in mind and use its principles as much as possible.
