Everyday Crystal Rituals and Meditations

Do you get overwhelmed when you think about what you're actually going to do with all of those crystals you've been collecting? Or maybe you have some practices that you use for the crystals every once in a while, but you're ready to incorporate them into your everyday life.

Here's what you need to know:

You don't need to put on an elaborate production that takes tons of time to ritualize and meditate with your crystals (although you can if that’s your thing). There are lots of ways that you can bring quick but effective crystal meditations and rituals into your day-to-day life.

As with any ritual, your intuition and imagination are your most powerful tools and guidance. Read over the following suggestions and see what resonates with you.

Ask Your Crystals For Guidance

Before you leave the house in the morning, determine what you need guidance with and choose the stone that most resonates with your question. For example, if you need direction with where a relationship is headed, pull out your rose quartz which is known to help with matters of the heart.

Hold the crystal in your palm, ask your question or state what you need guidance on. You might receive your answer right away, or you might need to let it go and see what comes up for you during the day. Either way, trust that it is all perfect and you will get the answers you need.

Meditating With Crystals

Looking to bring your meditation even deeper? Crystals can help with that. Seek out the crystals that are purple, indigo, or white as those resonate with the higher chakras and can help you go deeper. Some examples are:

  • Amethyst
  • Clear quartz
  • Selenite

Adding crystals into your current meditation practice is easy. Palm stones, larger than normal tumbled and polished crystals, are the perfect companion to your meditation practice because they fit snuggly in the palm of your hand. But if you don't have any palm stones, don't let that stop you. Grab whatever crystals you have on hand.

Once you have your crystal, find a comfortable place to sit. Take some deep breaths to center yourself and allow yourself to focus on the energy of the crystal.

Take A Crystal Bath

Maybe you're not taking baths every day, but this is something you can do once in a while to treat yourself. 

Start by mindfully cleaning your bathtub. Try not to view it as a chore, but rather a gift you are giving yourself.

Create a sacred space for yourself. Maybe you want to light your bathroom up with candles or plug in a salt lamp. Burn some incense. Bring in some altarpieces and set them up around the tub. Use your imagination.

Choose the crystals that resonate with you. You can choose based on your desired outcome, or just let your intuition choose. 

Next place your crystals into the tub (and maybe add a few drops of your favorite essential oil). 

Crystal Ritual for Sleep

This can be something you do every night before bed. It's so simple and will only take a couple of minutes.

Choose a crystal and hold it in your hand. Close your eyes and imagine what energy you will receive from the crystal as you sleep. Place the crystal under your pillow. Go to sleep and allow the crystal to work its magic.

Some great crystals for sleep include celestite, lepidolite, black tourmaline, amethyst, and hematite.

    Thank you for these ideas. I didn’t know you can take the crystals in the bathtub with you. I have to do this. I will also practice meditation before bed when it’s the quietest.
