Crystals for Protection

Sometimes the world is a loud and chaotic place. People move faster than they ever have before and you are constantly exposed to different people and different energy. For those of us who are a bit more sensitive to these things, it can be absolutely overwhelming.

Amethyst: Amethyst is a great stone overall for handling stress, anxiety, and for raising intuition, however it is also a wonderful stone for protection against psychic attacks. It is extremely beneficial for empaths or anyone who is easily swayed by other people's mood and energy.

Black Obsidian: All Obsidian have protective qualities, however Black Obsidian is the best when it comes to protecting and releasing negative energies. It is also beneficial for empaths since it can protect against psychic attacks and prevent energetic drains. If Black Obsidian seems too grounding, try Mahogony or Snowflake Obsidian.

Black Tourmaline: Black Tourmaline is an extremely cleansing stone that can protect you from EMF, psychic attacks, and negative energies of all kinds. It increases vitality and strength, encouraging a positive attitude no matter what your circumstances might be.

Pyrite: Pyrite is a strong protective stone that can help promote positive thinking and manifestation. It boosts energy and willpower, making it easier for you to protect yourself from draining or negative energies.

Smoky Quartz: Smoky Quartz amplifies energies like most quartz, but it also is extremely protective and grounding. It corresponds to the Root Chakra and protects against negative energies. It can relieve stress, fear, jealousy, anger and other negative emotions by transforming them into positive energies and emotions.

Working with any combination of these crystals can be extremely beneficial for you when you are feeling like you need some extra protection in your life.
